Holy cow! Where does time go? I can't believe it has been a month since I have updated the blog. Sorry! As you can probably imagine, things can get pretty hectic around here. :) The Haynie's and my parents came here for Thanksgiving. It was great to see them! Mom and Dad came a few weeks early so mom could stay and help while Dad took a short motorcycle trip. It is always sad to see help leave. :) Gavin continues to enjoy preschool. He is starting to spell small words! The twins continue to grow. They are both teething right now, so that makes it a little fussier around here. Neither have accomplished rolling over or sitting up yet, but 55 is really close. I think Woody has a few too many rolls for those accomplishments as of yet. :) Gavin is anxiously counting down the days until Christmas. He tells me everyday how excited he is!

Halloween already?

Our little tootsie roll, Mr. Incredible and chubby caterpillar

Wow! This month has been a busy one. Woody and 55 have started eating rice cereal at night. They are doing a great job with it. 55 is now sleeping through the night...maybe he could reteach his sister how it is done. :)

We had Mark's brother Paul and family over last weekend to carve pumpkins. We had a great time and enjoyed eating the pumpkin seeds after, thanks to Aunt Stephanie.

Halloween already? Gavin had a party at preschool on Thursday. He decided he would dress up as Woody for the occasion. Then, of course, he couldn't wait for Friday night to go trick or treating. The day wouldn't go by fast enough for him. We had such a fun time last night. Thankfully, it was a very nice, warm evening, so we were all able to go do a little trick or treating. We dressed up all the kids and drove the golf cart to 6 or 7 neighborhood homes. In case you were wondering, Gavin was Mr. Incredible, Woody was a caterpillar and 55 was a tootsie roll. Gavin and I then went to a church Harvest Festival (Harvest vegetable as Gavin said) at the Fairgrounds. There, Gavin played games and slid down a jump house slide. Needless to say, he had a blast! The best part is that we were home by 7:30! :)

Awaiting the festivities

Gavin is counting down the days until Trick or Treating. He can't wait! Today we decided to dress up the kids in their costumes for some pre Halloween pictures. Woody wasn't too fond of hers, but Gavin and 55 didn't seem to mind too much. :) The twins are really starting to have a personality. They are both smiling like crazy and 55 sure is funny when he giggles. We hope all are doing well. Our door is always open for anyone who wants to stop in. :) We had a great visit with the Reddigs (in picture) from Montana. Thanks for stopping by!

We are surviving!

Well, we have officially been on our own now for the last couple of weeks. My mom left for home September 29th. I am amazed at how fast our days fly by. Luckily, Gavin is a great help. Can you believe they are almost 4 months already? I seriously do not know where time has gone. We, thankfully, have all been healthy and Royce is doing seemingly well after his surgery. Days are getting easier as long as I am in the mindset that nothing else is going to get done. :) We hope all is well with everyone. Please stop by when you can. We appreciate the extra arms for holding and playing.

All is well!

Royce's surgery went really well. They removed two ingrunal hernias and fixed his belly button hernia. He was such a trooper. The surgey was scheduled for 11:30 and he was not taken back until 20 after 1 and he hadn't eaten since 7:15 that morning. He and I stayed at the hospital that night and were discharged the next day just before noon. Thanks for all your prayers and support. Thanks, too, for the phone calls and visits!

Ivy is doing much better...we took her to ER Sunay night to find that she had pneumonia so they put her on zithromax.

Gavin continues to love preschool. Today was western day so they made flapjacks and had marshmallows. He was very excited! He starts gymnastics tomorrow and can't wait.

Mom is here right now helping out...it has been awesome. We are really sad that she is leaving Monday...the time has gone by so fast! We have an extra room for whoever wants to come help next. :)

We hope all is well with everyone!

Baptism Weekend

This weekend Woody and 55 were baptized. We had such a great time. Family came in from Montana to help celebrate the occasion. Even the priest I grew up with came to perform the ceremony. Gavin had a great time playing with his cousins and hanging with his grandparents. Woody sure looked cute in her baptism outfit and 55 was so handsome...he wore Gavin's outift and it fit perfect!

September Fun

This month is already flying by so fast. It seems I can't keep up. Woody and 55 are continuing to grow. Ivy peaked the scales at 13 pounds last week and Royce must be close to 11 by now. Thanks to continual help from family and friends, we continue to survive. :)

Our 2 month marker

Woody and 55 had their two month check up, which meant shots. YUCK! 55 has now made it to 9 pounds 12 ounces. He is trying hard to catch Woody, who now weighs 12 pounds 4 ounces. Both are doing really well! The doc was impressed!

Gavin started soccer this week. He LOVES it. A good friend of ours is the coach, so that definatley helps. He was pretty excited to go get new soccer gear. He keeps asking when the next soccer game is. :)

Uncle Jim and Aunt Nancy are here to our rescue again. It sure is great having the extra hands around!
